Why Photography?
When I was five and was signed up to play on a soccer team, I quickly learned it was not gifting. While there's something to say about a player with an outstanding ability to spot butterflies, pick dandelions and match nail polish to uniform, I was blessed to have talented artistic family members to guide me into artistic pursuits. I've never looked back.
My whole life has been centered around my interest in art. After earning my art degree, it took getting married to help me discover my new life purpose. Working with our fantastic wedding photographer, shooting our engagement, wedding and adventure session, it all clicked and a light went off. The process of getting married inspired me to be an entrepreneurial artist, helping other couples creatively celebrate the most momentous times of their lives.
Style?
I describe my editing style as warm and romantic. I always prioritize genuine connection. People generally feel pretty comfortable in my photoshoots as I'll have you ignore me and connect with each other most of the time.
I enjoy the flare of an editorial edge when possible. I'm all about having a blast while making turning your love into art. I love clients I can dream up ideas and create a vision beyond just the occasion.
